My living room is starting to take shape. The walls are painted. Floors to be refinished in a few weeks. Electrical should be all trimmed out and new lights hung in September. |

I've set my bedroom up, even
though the floors need to be refinished.
I bought a couple rugs to stand on
so it doesn't look too hideous.

Now my bedroom has a fan!!!! It has been very hot here and even with the A/C running, a fan helps circulate the air. |

This is my incredible shower. It's Onyx and is 4' x 4' which is plenty big for me. |

This is the upstairs guest bedroom. Fan has been installed. All the trash is from the new bathroom vanity. I ran out of oomph to clean it up last night. |

This is the 2nd upstairs bedroom. It didn't get a fan because the attic pull-down stairs is in the way. This room did get a real closet. The 2 chest of drawers were left in the house when I bought it. They probably were bought when the home was new. Even have tags inside showing they are genuine mahogany. It's amazing how well drawers slide in old furniture. |

The plumber, J.R. Cobler and I installed the guest vanity last night (08/22/07). I'm so excited because now I don't have to brush my teeth in the basement sink every morning. |

This is what I built today
(08/23/07). New shelving for the pantry! Now I can at least put
stuff
into one area and not scattered around in boxes. |

This is the solarium which is on
the first floor. I may add a Murphy bed so the room could double
as another guest bedroom if needed.

This is still my favorite
room. Lighting and sound system should be installed in
September. The floors will be resurfaced in a couple
weeks. Then I'd like to find a wood craftsman to build the
bookcases and mantle.
